Connect Google Tasks for action follow-up
You can connect a Google Tasks account for supported email actions, review connected Google Tasks credentials, and disconnect one if you no longer need it.
Step by step
- Start the Google Tasks connection from Ellie where Google Tasks is offered for your email account.
- Sign in to Google and complete the permission prompt.
- Finish the connection in the popup window.
- If the connection succeeds, the Google Tasks credential is added to your account.
- If the popup returns an error, try again from Ellie and complete the same Google account flow again.
- To review what is connected, open your list of connected Google Tasks accounts in Ellie.
- If you no longer want a Google Tasks credential connected, remove that connected account from the list.
Disconnecting a Google Tasks credential removes that connection from Ellie. If you need it again, you must connect it again through Google.
Good to know
- Google Tasks connection is only available for accounts where email actions are enabled. If it is not enabled for your account, you cannot start or manage this connection.
- If Ellie cannot match the email account you started from, or the email account is no longer available, the connection may fail and you may need to reconnect from the correct email account in Ellie.
